Contract Underwriting Services Officer (1-year)

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and issue policies through the worldwide Zurich Multinational Network in accordance with agreed KPIs, delivering high‑quality service.

• Communicate directly with underwriters, brokers and customers regarding service matters provided by the worldwide Zurich Multinational Network.

• Communicate effectively within the worldwide Zurich Multinational Network to manage and resolve Multinational Insurance Program‑related issues (e.g. instructions, monitoring, policy issuance, and premium collection).

• Handle multiple lines of business, including Property, Financial Lines, Casualty, Marine, and others.

• Support ad‑hoc projects, duties, and system testing as assigned by Manager

Job Requirements 

• Degree / Diploma or above with minimum 3 years working experience in General Insurance program

• Prior experience with multinational insurance programs, captives, and/or reinsurance accounting, is an asset

• Previous working experience in underwriting an advantage

• Good communication skill with quicker turnaround time and priority management skill

• Open minded, ability to work with people from different backgrounds, countries and cultures

• Eager to learn and discover new technical matters

• Attention to detail (important for both for IT systems and policy documentation)

• Ability to anticipate and to proactively look for the necessary information

• Ability to deliver technical messages to colleagues located abroad

• Able to work independently and under pressure
